401-400 Series Single Channel Receiver

Overview  

The 401-400 provides the most complete system testing package available for monitoring two/wire, on/off level transmitters. The receiver is based on reliable technology that’s performed successfully at major plants for decades. The two-wire design allows for continuous self-checking loop diagnostics, which check the twister pair for open and short circuits.

LEDs are visible through standard Nema 4X housing or optional viewport on explosion-proof housing.

AutoVerify Test Interval:
10 seconds (alarm inhibit 3 seconds)

One magnetic key to manually certify entire system operation

-40°F to 145°F (-40°C to 60°C)

AutoVerify Alarm Latency:
4 seconds maximum (time from AutoVerify test to acknowledgement of a real alarm condition.)

401-0400 Series receivers are designedfor Non-Hazardous installation.

Connections to hazardous location:
401-04XX-00X output is limited to 24 volts, current will supply one (1) 4-20 mA transmitter
401-04XX-01X output is Intrinsically Safe for Class I, II, III, Div. 1 & 2, Groups A through G.
Intrinsic Safety is provided by STAHL Barrier model 9001/01-280-100-10.
